Azalea bonsais, are perfect for beginners. They need bright and filtered sunlight in damp moisture.
- Hibiscus bonsais should be grown in a warm, sunny locations. Hibiscus require very bright light to bloom well indoors.
- Black Olives, have dark green leaves. They are also easy to prune and need bright, filtered light like the azalea.

Boxwood bonsais have small waxy leaves. The pruning is easy as well, but you should take care about the roots, too. They require regular cuttings, like the rest of the tree.
- China Doll bonais should not be placed in direct sunlight. The China Doll has fragile and delicate leaves.
- Fuschia Aince bonsais are often grown outdoors. They requires cool temperature as well as bright light indoors.

Bougainvillea bonsais are often styled in a cascade style and are easy to prune. Beware of the thorns, though.
- Oleanders are a flowering shrub like the hibiscus, but their leaves are poisenous!
